Allowing connections from Plotly Cloud IP addresses
Published apps can use Python libraries to connect to data that lives outside of Plotly Cloud.
This approach is well-suited for apps that rely on datasets that are too large to include as part of the app files. By connecting to an external source, the app code can retrieve datasets hosted using the services of popular platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or Databricks at runtime.
If these services have network restrictions, you may need to add the Plotly Cloud IP addresses to an allow list in order for your apps to successfully connect.
Caution
Allowing the IP addresses below grants connection access to all apps published on Plotly Cloud—not just your team's apps. Make sure that your data source is adequately protected against unauthorized access.
